IPv2 (Internet Protocol version 2) does not exist as a protocol. The first version of the Internet Protocol (IP) was actually IPv4, which is still widely used today.

The next version of IP after IPv4 is IPv5, which was an experimental protocol designed to support streaming audio and video over the internet. However, it was never widely adopted and was eventually superseded by other protocols.

The current version of the Internet Protocol is IPv6, which was introduced in 1998 and is gradually being adopted to replace IPv4. IPv6 uses a 128-bit address format, which provides an almost limitless number of unique addresses, and offers several other improvements over IPv4 in terms of security, mobility, and performance.
